Coaching for actual human beings.

Get stronger.
Understand yourself.
Build something that lasts.

Highly individualized strength and health coaching built around the whole person doing the work—not a template you’re expected to squeeze yourself into.

ā€œI’m able to hold more grace and affection for my body because I recognize that this is the body that allows me to move through the world. Having confidence that my body can do really cool things has been so valuable.ā€

Kaitlynn

THE CENTER OF THE WHOLE THING

I coach humans, not bodies.

Your goals matter. So do your history, nervous system, injuries, confidence, sensory preferences, schedule, stress, learning style, and the strategies you’ve already built to get through life.

My job isn’t to make you better at following instructions. It’s to help you build the strength, skills, understanding, and self-trust to participate more fully in your own coaching.

Because you aren’t just learning what to do.

You’re learning how to understand yourself.

You don’t have to become a different person to belong here.

ā€œI’ve never felt so heard. Kat made me feel comfortable right away, and I didn’t feel judged from the first day. She even made it fun—and that’s what made me want to come back.ā€

Kami

ā€œIf you feel like you don’t belong in fitness because of the size or shape of your body, that isn’t true. There is a space for you.

For me, this has been that space.ā€

WAYS TO WORK TOGETHER

Different doors. Same philosophy.

PERSONAL TRAINING

Strength, movement, skill.

Individualized training with an emphasis on strength, body awareness, skill development, and understanding the why behind what we’re doing.

We can work on getting stronger, moving with less pain or compensation, building muscle, returning to things you miss doing, developing new physical skills—or figuring out what your body actually needs before any of those goals make sense.

ā€œI couldn’t hold a 10-pound dumbbell without it sliding out of my hand. Now I can support my entire body on the rings and turn upside down.

It amazes me that I can do that.ā€

Mary

ā€œI’m no longer afraid to walk into a hotel gym and pick up the dumbbells. Give me a bench and some weights, and I’m good.

I know what to do.ā€

HEALTH & WELLNESS COACHING

Behavior change that belongs to you.

Behavior change is more complicated than knowing what you ā€œshouldā€ do.

Health coaching gives us room to work with the bigger system: habits, nutrition, stress, recovery, routines, self-regulation, motivation, competing priorities, and the wonderfully inconvenient reality of being a human with a life.

As a National Board Certified Health & Wellness Coach, I use a collaborative, non-prescriptive coaching approach designed to help you build strategies that actually belong to you.

Kat is amazing! Working with her has been one of the best decisions I have ever made for myself. She cares about you as a whole person. She meets you where you are and guides you to get you where you want to be. Strong, physically and mentally. I started training with Kat coming out of some mental health issues, knowing it was now time to care for my body. She has been patient and kind along the way helping me rediscover my connection to my mind and body. We focus on teaching my body to move in a way that supports me while building strength. In just a matter of weeks I am experiencing changes. I stand taller, my form has never been better, and I am seeing growth with my reps and weights. I don’t want to stop! This is the beginning of a lifestyle change and the best version of me. Thank you, Kat!!

I've been working with Kat for about 8 months. She's not only a great trainer, but a wonderful person who has helped me both physically and mentally. She knows her stuff, and I feel more confident every session. Thank you Kat!

Kat is a gem šŸ–¤ I personally think that I got realllyyy lucky to find a personal trainer that not only cares about a person but also understands each person body/limits while challenging. It’s *chefs kiss* I’ve been seeing Kat for a little over 7-8 months now and she’s has given me the confidence in strength training and holding me accountable to it. All the workout blocks she tailored for me… especially for all the weaker areas I dreaded… I don’t dread as much because the results are resulting. The main highlight is the accommodations and pivoting of her program blocks - for example - in the beginning I didn’t think my core/balance was that weak where I couldn’t even do a body weight lunge/split squat, we dissected queues and took it slow and now I’m doing them with weights~ Cannot recommend Kat more. There’s so much I can say about her and her training, but I have to just leave it as, I love her & She’s a superstarrrr~

I have been working with Kat for almost two months, and this is the most consistent I have ever been with getting in regular exercise. Kat is extremely welcoming and supportive. She is very considerate and meets me where I am at. As a plus size person, it can be scary to go to a gym with the watching eyes. Kat provides the perfect safe space (with no mirrors!) for folks to get in touch with their own bodies. HIGHLY recommend!

I finally found a trainer that understands my individual body and needs! In the last 3 months of training with Kat I have learned more about my body, exercise science and nutrition than any other coaching experience I’ve tried in the last 25 years. I found a mental and physical connection I’d been looking for, created a consistent 4-days a week routine and changed my body successfully. Looking forward to continuing to learn and improve my strength both mentally and physically.

Working with Kat has been a fantastic experience. She really took the time to get to know me and has helped me so much in figuring out how I can become the person I want to be. She plans amazing workouts and is very hands on in helping me if I have any questions. My favorite part has been the virtual health coaching sessions, they have been so helpful to me just to talk through roadblocks I have or think about situations in another way. I would highly recommend her to anyone I know! She is also the queen of metaphors! šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚

Even from the first few sessions with Kat, she has demonstrated how caring, considerate, scientific and adaptable she is. I live with chronic pain and her gentle, shame free, detailed and pain free approach to my training has my hands and legs working well enough after a session to let me get out of bed and type this message. Please consider this a most sincere endorsement for this amazing trainer.

I cannot say enough good things about Kat! She is passionate and knowledgeable. She was so creative and thoughtful in coming up with plans to help me with my specific goals.

There is no gold star for doing it the hard way.

Curiosity over compliance.

You don’t need more shame.

You don’t need someone standing over you demanding compliance.

And you probably don’t need another perfectly optimized plan that works beautifully—as long as you’re capable of behaving like an entirely different person.

You need something that worksĀ with the person who will actually be living it.

That might mean:

  • modifying the environment instead of demanding more willpower
  • building capacity before removing an old coping strategy
  • changing an exercise instead of repeatedly forcing your body through the same compensation
  • treating ā€œI couldn’t make myself do itā€ as useful information rather than a character flaw
  • recognizing improvements in control, confidence, range of motion, skill, or awareness even when the number on the bar hasn’t gone up
  • choosing the solution you’ll consistently use over the theoretically perfect one you won’t

We’re allowed to be curious about what works.

Especially if you've been made to feel like you're the problem.

A lot of the people I work with are thoughtful, capable humans who have spent years wondering why things that seemed straightforward for everyone else felt so much harder for them.

Many are neurodivergent. Many have complicated relationships with exercise, food, health, or their bodies. Many have injuries, chronic conditions, movement histories, or previous coaching experiences that don’t fit neatly into a template.

You do not need to arrive already knowing exactly what kind of coaching you need.

We can figure that part out together.
